About the Practice

The Alpha Omega Dental Center was built in 2004 with patient comfort in mind. I designed the practice and ther building based on my previous experiences and input by patients and staff on layout and comfort. Open reception area, large treatment rooms, and advanced technology have been combined for the most efficient office environment in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. We will do everything we can to provide a comfortable experience for you.

A little history about the name of the practice. When I started dental school, an instructor asked the class the following question: “What do they call the person who finishes first in the class?” Several suggestions were presented: Valedictorian – No, that is in High School; Magna Cum Laude – No, that is in undergrad. The class was stumped, so he replied, “Alpha Omega – that is the award given to the student with the highest academic achievement at the time of graduation – the person who finishes first in the class.” Then he presented another question: “What do they call the person who finishes last in the class?” To this question, there was no reply at all. “Doctor” was the answer he gave. “Only you can decide to what level you wish to practice.”

I chose to give the best that I possibly could, and received the Alpha Omega award for the Class of 1996, University of Michigan School of Dentistry. I continue to devote countless hours to further education so that I can provide exceptional care for you, the most important part of this practice. Thank you for trusting me with your health.
